Writing Journal Prompts FREEBIE!

To celebrate finishing all 3 sets of writing journal prompts, I made a FREEBIE set!  This set contains prompts for kindergarten, first and second grade.  It includes 4 prompts for each grade.  There is also one editable prompt so you can make your own!  The prompts are all different from the prompts in the other 3 sets and even contain some newly purchased clipart from Creative Clips!

While this FREEBIE set is only a small sample, the complete sets cover ALL of the Common Core Standards for language arts in each grade.  Most of the prompts are essentially writing prompts, but several word work prompts are also included.  The complete sets also include 5 editable prompts, each with its own clipart to add variety.

If you take a look at the FREEBIE and like it, then you might want to check out one of the other sets.  Click on the pictures below to take a look:

  1. Do you know how to create TPT products on a MAC? I saw that you do it on Word but I do not have that.

  2. You can purchase Word for the Mac. That's the program I have used almost exclusively for years. But, I recently started using Pages on the Mac, too. It is a very intuitive program. It is very similar to Word in a lot of ways, but one big difference is that you don't have to insert text boxes. You can just drop your graphics into the picture! Plus, you can tilt both pics and text in any direction. The only downside I have found is that there is no way to darken your graphic like you can in Word. You can, however, add a shadow, which darkens it somewhat.
