K-2 Curriculum Bundle

Don't miss this resource-packed curriculum bundle that's available on Educents for a limited time! It includes over $100 worth of products for only $19.99! The resources cover reading, writing, math, science, and social studies for K-2.

Two of my products are included in this bundle. The first one is "Sight Word Sentences Add and Read for Spring." This set of printables helps students practice sight words, addition, AND fluency. One thing I love about this resource is that students of different reading levels can play it at the same time! Note that, in the picture below, a kindergartener and a second grader can play together!

The second product is "Addition Fun with Friends." This is a set of multipurpose task cards to help students practice addition facts. They can be used as a card game, task cards, or for a game of Scoot!

This curriculum bundle contains 20 different resources that are just right for K-2.

Alphabet Readers: Letter J FREEBIE!

Don't miss this adorable FREEBIE from 2 Scoops of Kindergarten! This beginning reading book has students practicing words that begin with the letter J and sight words. It's perfect for your preschool or kindergarten students who are just learning what reading is all about.

With this book, STUDENTS WILL COVER:

* Words that begin with the letter J
* The left to right progression of print
* That spoken words are represented by sets of letters
* Recognizing upper- and lowercase J letters

My preschooler felt so successful reading this book! The touch points below each word helped him follow along with the text. He also enjoyed finding the Js at the end of the book! You can download a copy of this TEACHER FREEBIE by clicking on the picture below. I hope your students enjoy it!

Sight Word Scrambled Sentences for Spring!

Today, my own littles worked on sight words, grammar, punctuation, and reading with these sets of sentences. My oldest tackled the 2nd and 3rd grade set, while my middle son worked on the set for kinder and 1st. Cutting, gluing, and bright spring graphics made it an appealing, hands-on activity!

The kindergarten and first grade set includes 60 cut-and-glue sentences. Over 125 Dolch sight words are covered! The second and third grade set has 63 sentences. It focuses on  over 120 Dolch sight words. Both sets include pictures for text that might be unfamiliar to students.

If you haven't tried a set of these with your class yet, please download a FREE set HERE.

You can find the spring sets of scrambled sentences by clicking on the picture for the appropriate grade level.

Thanks for reading!

Back to School Sight Word Flip Books and a FREEBIE!

Click on the picture to see this on Teacher's Notebook.
Click HERE to see it in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

Take a look at this set of Back to School Sight Word Flip Books!  They are just right for beginning readers!  This set covers the pre-primer and primer Dolch sight word lists, plus a few more--OVER 100 SIGHT WORDS!

This is a great set because . . .

1.  Students read each sentence 5 times.
2.  Flip books are great for saving paper!  They pack a lot of practice into a small space.
3.  Each unfamiliar word is accompanied by a picture clue.
4.  The set has 54 books in both color and blackline.
5.  Flip books are just the right size for little hands.

Since my son learned to read so many sight words using flip books, I want everyone to try them!  Just click on the picture below to grab a set of 4 books (in color and blackline) for your students!

As always, thanks for reading!

Valentine's Day Card Making Center

Okay, so I am WAAAAY too excited because Christmas isn't even over yet and I'm already on Valentine's Day!  It's just that every year I put out some card making stuff for the class.  It's usually just some folded paper, stamps, hearts to cut out, markers, etc.  But look out for this Valentine's Day!!!  I have a newly prepared "Valentine's Day Card Making Center" that allows students to design their own unique cards by cutting, gluing, coloring, copying prepared text, and even MAKING THEIR OWN ENVELOPES!  (Yes, I finally sat down and worked out a nice pattern for that, LONG overdue!)

Anyway, I'm letting everyone know because I have it for 50% off (just $1.50!) until Monday, December 26th.  Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll be sure to take some when I put it out for the class or maybe earlier if my daughter, son and I make some at home.  Click on the caption below the picture to check it out!

As always,
Thanks for reading!
